Ultimate Golden Cross Indicator Testing

A couple of days ago Loz came out with a custom indicator to send alerts to the trading station whenever a golden / ultimate golden cross signal appears. This is designed to help people be more efficient and not have to spend all day glued to the trading station. It also is claimed to be extremely accurate. This is not part of the Forex Signal Mentor course, but rather an optional extra that you can buy, rather like the webinar service. Since I am testing the whole shebang I decided to grab this indicator to see if it indeed lived up to it’s bold claims.

I got the indicator and tested it briefly on the demo account and then decided to put it up against my live account. The following is my FXOpen statement from the 16th April when I ran the indicator. As you can see $152.97 in profit ALL from the ultimate golden cross indicator trades. The two stop losses I had resulted in the two small gains. These were trades that were in profit but then came back again. I had VERY tight stop losses on these trades as I only had been using the indicator for a few hours.

So that money made more than paid for the indicator twice over (I got it at the initial price of $77 – I think this price is going up soon). You still need to know and have some practice in the basic tenets of forex trading such as support and resistance and price sentiment so it is imperative that you test this in a demo account first. What this means is that I have more than hit my weekly 100 pip target and can take half of next week off if I want. I suspect that will be an unlikely scenario however as I want to make sure that nice profit was not just beginner’s luck I will keep you posted!
